ORBIS World Sight Day 2012

Our world is home to 39,000,000 totally blind and 246,000,000 visually impaired people, most of whom are easily curable.  Unfortunately, 90% of these patients live in developing countries with virtually no access to medical care, the hope of seeing again is nothing more than a mirage.

Since 30 years ago, ORBIS has been a forerunner in saving sight worldwide.  As we shortly plan to greatly expand our sight saving footprint by upgrading to a new generation Flying Eye Hospital, your donation will bring hope to even more of the preventably blind over the world. Students can simply donate HK$20 or over for each of our very special pins. And over the coming months, we will also be delighted to hold talks about blindness and the need to protect one's eyes for students.
