Convert your talents, interests, skills and gatherings into a fundraising activity by joining our 2012-13 Online Fundraising Competition. To enter, simply use this year's "Shiny eyes" competition theme and create your online fundraising page on ORBIS website now.

Competition date:
Runs from now until February 28, 2013
Individual winners will be announced and contacted personally in early March 2013.
How to join:
Step 1
Organize a fundraising activity with "Shiny eyes" theme. Examples are: charity sale of hand-made food / clothes / drawing / book / other creative works; ask participants to make donation as admission fee for charity concert / sports / course / party; encourage guests to donate in lieu of gifts in occasions such as birthday, anniversary, and other red-letter days.
Step 2
Click orbis.org.hk/onlinefundraising, submit your details, explain your fundraising activity and target. ORBIS Hong Kong will take around three working days to verify your page. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email that your online fundraising page is live!
Step 3
Forward your page's link to friends or post it on social networks such as Facebook, Weibo, and ask everyone to show their support by donating online via credit card. You can check your latest fundraising figures and donor list on your fundraising page from time to time.
Awards:
"The Most Creative Shiny Eyes Activity Award" will be made based on creativity and theme matching. The judge for this award will be ORBIS Hong Kong.
Prize: Winner will be entitled to join 2013 ORBIS blind experience workshop with his/her sponsors (maximum ten seats). Participants will be guided through a traditional African village in total darkness by a sightless leader.
"Top Fundraiser Award" is open to entrants who raise HK$2,000 or over online before 11:00 p.m. on February 28, 2013.
Prize: Winner will be entitled to join 2013 ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital (FEH) goodwill visit in Hong Kong with his/her sponsors (maximum 20 seats). Participants will go onboard the FEH and meet our crew members.
