For more than 25 years, ORBIS' sight-saving work around the world has garnered tremendous press coverage and generated countless stories of human triumph.

Since 1982, ORBIS has carried out more than 925 training programs in 87 countries, through which more than 234,000 ophthalmologists, nurses, biomedical engineers and other health care workers have improved their abilities to treat and prevent blindness.
