The 11th (Year 2009-2010) ORBIS Student Ambassador Campaign Highlights

2009/10 Student Ambassadors Visit Vietnam
Our 2009/10 SAC winners were: Hong Kong International School, Ying Wah College and Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School. Two representatives from each school were subsequently nominated by their teammates to join our July 20 to 23, 2010 sight-saving mission to Vietnam. ORBIS Student Ambassadors Chloe, Joyce, Nam Kit, Eric, Justin and Gary subsequently joined forces with Team Captain, Roland, and Assistant Team Captain, Kitterick, to witness our front line sight-saving efforts in Vietnam.

Our winning Student Ambassadors did not only visit Vietnam to spread hope. While there, they also participated in hands-on eye-care activities such as surgeries, screenings, patient visits and education. The ultimate aim was to enable them to demonstrate their outstanding leadership, responsibility and caring sides.
