ORBIS Creative Eye-Care Campaign 2010

_HKU1317.jpg
To raise awareness of blindness issues among local kids, ORBIS Hong Kong hosted its second Creative Eye-Care Campaign in February 2010. In all, some 1,500 children from 16 kindergartens and primary schools demonstrated their compassion for the blind by joining the campaign and raised some HK$200,000 for ORBIS. With the help of parents, participating students showed their creativity by creating ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital-themed piggy banks.

We are delighted to congratulate the following schools for winning the awards:

Teachers learnt how to apply examples in daily life in their curriculum to nurture students’ observation ability and mindfulness

It's wonderful to see so many local kids so unselfishly helping other children who are blind. Let's all follow their example and do our best to help!
