2012 will mark ORBIS' 30th year of saving sight. To celebrate the many lives that generous donors have helped our medical teams to transform, we are delighted to announce we will be creating an exclusive limited edition pin for ORBIS Friends monthly donors. We also cordially invite you to help us to design this very special souvenir by entering our first ever ORBIS Friends Recognition Pin Design competition! In asking your friends to support your entry, we hope you continue to encourage everyone to donate to our sight saving work via your online fundraising page on the ORBIS website.

Individual winners will be announced and contacted personally in early January 2012.
How to join:
Step 1
Click www.orbis.org.hk/pindesign, submit your details, explain your design and upload your pin design on your online fundraising page.
Remark:
Upload your pin design during the "Upload Picture" session
Specifications of pin:
- Max. 30mm (W) x 30mm (H)
- Max. 3 colors
- Must include the wordings "ORBIS" and "xx years of support"
Step 2
We will take around a week to study your details. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email that your online fundraising page with unique pin design is live!
Step 3
Forward your page’s hotlink to friends or post it on social networks such as Facebook and ask everyone to show their support by donating online via credit card and voting that they “Like” your page.
Sponsors who donate HK$20 or more will receive our special edition ORBIS Friends pin in March 2012.
Awards:
"The Best Pin Design Award" will be made based on each design's creativity and popularity (i.e. "Like" votes, replies and feedback posted on entrants' online fundraising pages, etc). The judge for this award will be ORBIS Hong Kong.
Prize: A Complimentary One Night Stay in a Harbour Suite sponsored by Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel (Value HK$7,000)
Depending on ORBIS' final decision and modification, the winning design will then be used to create our 2012 ORBIS Friends pin.
"Top Fundraiser Award" is open to designers who raise HK$3,000 or over online before 11:00 p.m. on Friday December 30, 2011.
