Development Executive (Ref. no.: HKDE-O0313)

Reporting to Development Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the implementation of sustainable fundraising strategies for ORBIS which draw on the resources and build awareness within the segments of organizations team, with the goal of maximizing support for ORBIS fundraising objectives. The segments include corporations, schools, religious groups, clubs, associations and foundations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build awareness and raise fund within organizations segments.
  • Implement approved direct marketing campaigns and other fundraising campaigns within the team.
  • Assist in the preparation of other communication materials within the team.
  • Solicit gift-in-kind donation for assigned fundraising campaigns.
  • Follow up stewardship recognition and loyalty plan for organizations' donors.
  • Research and update market intelligence about other corporate fundraising programs.
  • Monitor coin box performance and take care of subsequent logistic arrangement.
  • Assist in other fundraising events within the team and participate in other ORBIS activities as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University graduate in marketing, business administration or related disciplines
  • 1-3 years of working experience in marketing management
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Creative, well-organized and highly motivated
  • Proactive with can-do attitude
  • Attention to details and able to meet deadlines
  • Good presentation skills and telephone manner
  • Able to work independently with limited resources and under pressure
  • Strong in computer knowledge E.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
