Prepare to bring light to the blind at our 2011 Moonwalkers event!
At midnight on Saturday, December 3, 2011, ORBIS and Bupa will unite for the sixth Moonwalkers annual fundraising event. So get set to join us in saving and restoring sight by walking the 20-kms from Wanchai Sports Ground to Repulse Bay Beach!
ORBIS has been saving sight worldwide since 1982. As the UK's largest health insurer and Hong Kong's foremost health insurance specialist, Bupa has been "taking care of the lives in our hands" by meeting personal and corporate needs for 35 years. This Saturday, December 3, will mark the sixth year we have joined hands with ORBIS Moonwalkers to bring hope to some 39,000,000 preventably blind people worldwide. See you there!
Painting with light
This year, ORBIS and Bupa will continue the exciting theme last year - Light Painting to its fun and meaningful Moonwalkers line up! So let's unite the power of the Moonwalkers by using Light Painting to vanquish the darkness and illuminate needlessly blind lives.
Date & Time:
Overnight from 10:30pm Saturday December 3, 2011 to 6:30am the next morning
- Wanchai Sports Ground → Repulse Bay Beach
- 20km on pavement
- Duration: approximately 6 hours

Dress Code:
To match the light painting theme, please choose a brightly colored jersey and step onto the road of saving sight worldwide!
Blindfold Experience:
Participants will blindfold and complete a 10-minute walk in Central Pier.
- Individual category (minimum sponsorship HK$600)
- Team category (eight members or above, minimum sponsorship HK$550 per member)
Deadline for Enrollment:
5:00pm Tuesday November 1, 2011
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. If applications are oversubscribed before this deadline, ORBIS will immediately stop accepting applications without further notice. Please read the Registration Remarks for full details.
